Ford's now legendary off-road performance pickup truck
the F-150 Raptor, is inspired by trucks
desert racers and can go faster on many types of terrain
even higher off the ground. It rides on a custom frame with standard 35-inch or optional 37-inch all-wheel drive
They depend in part on a custom suspension with more than a foot of travel, thanks in part to Fox adaptive shock absorbers.
Locking or limiting the differential and drive patterns designed for different types of terrain allows
the F-150 Raptor to tackle everything from sand dunes to mud pits to gravel roads.
Despite being capable of drilling through rock, the Raptor is more refined in terms of handling and speed.
