As a non-luxury electric SUV with style, the 2022 Kia Niro draws on the legacy of earlier versions. Since 2020
Kia has been producing all-electric variants of the Niro model, with annual updates.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E, Volkswagen ID.4, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and other all-electric SUVs compete with
the Niro EV. Since 2016, Kia has offered hybrid, plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and all-electric models under
the Niro moniker. The Niro is essential to Kia's ambitions to provide consumers with electrified
mobility since it is exclusively built to run on either gas and electricity or simply electricity.
The Hyundai Ioniq served as inspiration for the design of the Niro's initial version, which was debuted in 2016 as a PHEV.
The Niro Plus, a new version of the Niro, was just released in South Korea.
